U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 48

Welcome to our newly activated website.  We’re still trying to find our way with this, but in the meantime, feel free to wander about.  We are still missing some content and others are sketchier than they should be, but, hang in there –it will get better.  The following is a short list of activities this month.  Those that are directly Auxiliary related are also under the CALENDAR section.

We are currently between classes, however, we are planning to begin our next BS&S, (Boating Skills and Safety) class in April.   We currently hold classes at the First Community Church at the corner of Hamilton and Leigh.

The annual South Bay opening day ceremonies will be held in Redwood City on April 12.  I understand there are to be lunch and other festivities held for the public at the Sequoia Yacht Club.  All are encouraged to attend and bring their families.

Our flotilla meeting this month of February was held at the “Tomato Thyme” restaurant and good food and drinks were had by all.  The next flotilla meeting is Wednesday March 12.
